Enticement

A balmy night,
The moon so bright,
Blowing breeze
And the whispering trees.

Clouds all around,
Cloaking the sky…
In the misty weather
It’s the middle of the night.

The sound of distant rumble
And the flash of lightning.
Entice one to surrender,
To a rainy tumble…

Out on the streets
And down in the meadows.
Wherever I may be…
The rain entices me.

I thought you would write something about the Hills and snow, after returning from Manali.
But this one on Rains is beautiful.

    Thankyou…
There are quite a few in-the-process poems on the hills and snow. They will be up very very soon. 🙂
